The 5 Kumi Tachi of Kashima No Tachi
Kashima No Tachi dates back to an ancient samurai martial arts school. It became known in the West through various Aikido teachers, especially Christian Tissier Shihan.
Both Max Eriksson Ohlwein and Axel Buksnowitz have over 30 years of martial arts experience. They teach Aikido and Kashima No Tachi, in the line of Minoru Inaba Shihan, in their Berlin dojos. For many years, they have also been part of the instructor team at the Aikido Baltic Sea Camp, where they developed their system of teaching as a team.
Overview of principles and Kata
In this seminar, Max and Axel will give an overview of the various forms and principles within the Kashima No Tachi curriculum. Beginners and advanced students of Kenjutsu are welcome to join. It is also open to individuals with Kenjutsu experience from another Kenjutsu school or Aikiken.
All participants will have the opportunity to learn the sword art of Kashima and be inspired by the spirit of Budo. Advanced students can deepen their knowledge of the sword and refine their techniques. Those who teach can gain exercises and teaching methods for their own programs.
