Central Dan Examinations
The Aikido-Föderation Deutschland e. V. typically holds two examination courses per year. At these events, candidates are examined for 1st through 4th Dan in front of a federation jury. The examinations are open to the public, and all gradings are recognised by the Aikikai in Japan.
The Seminar
At the December 2026 examination, the accompanying Aikido training will be led jointly by Cèline Froissart, 5th Dan Aikikai, from Paris, and Max Eriksson-Ohlwein, 6th Dan Aikikai, from Berlin. The examinations themselves take place on the Sunday, under the chairmanship of Bodo Rödel Shihan, 6th Dan Aikikai.
Registration & Test Requirements

Times
Saturday, 5 December:
10:30–11:45 and 12:00–13:15
15:00–16:15 and 16:30–17:45
Evening gathering from 18:30, followed by a shared dinner.
Sunday, 6 December:
10:00–11:00 and 11:00–12:00
Examinations
The dan examinations take place on Sunday from approximately 12:30. Examination chair: Bodo Rödel Shihan, 6th Dan Aikikai.
