Aikido originated from the traditional fighting techniques of the samurai and has since evolved into a modern martial art. Rather than focusing on attack, aikido focuses on defense. The objective is to absorb and redirect an opponent’s energy without causing them harm.

This is what you can expect in Aikido
Regular practice helps us get to know ourselves better and grow as individuals. It is only when we are in touch with ourselves that we can harmonize our physical and mental strengths. Over time, we develop the ability to stay centered and act effectively in challenging situations.
In aikido, we seek to bring attacker and defender into harmony with each other. Aikido is not a fighting technique but rather a means of ending conflict. It is not about defeating an opponent.
Classes For all levels of experience
Training at our dojo is physically and mentally demanding, suitable for all levels of experience. Each class begins with a short meditation and a functional warm-up to strengthen and mobilize joints and muscles.
In the basic classes, the focus is on breakfalling and fundamental techniques. Practice is conducted at a calm pace, with ample opportunity for individual correction. People with no previous experience are also welcome to participate.
As experience increases, the training becomes more dynamic and the techniques become more complex. In these classes, a good command of breakfalls (ukemi) is important. As a general rule, people of different experience levels train together in all classes. This helps beginners to progress more quickly.
